This document summarizes the results of surveys carried out by Inter Aide in partnership with the NGO Baseda on the effects of vaccination of chickens against Newcastle disease. On the mortality rate, these surveys have been able to show that vaccination actions, when carried out correctly, contribute to reducing mortality of the flocks by more than 35%. They also show that, in the territories covered by the project, the number of vaccinations increases significantly over the years, which shows that this service of vaccination meets the expectations of families. It is also an activity which generates interesting incomes which encourages community vaccinators, grouped in associations, to retain the families of their locality.
